Saint Thomas More Newman Center
St. Thomas More Center at University of South CarolinaMcCrery Architects has been commissioned to design a new church and Newman Center for the Saint Thomas More Center at the University of South Carolina. The proposed church will seat about 500 faithful in a traditional cruciform plan. Flanked on either side is the community’s new Newman Center, which will include assembly and lecture space, student lounges and study rooms, staff offices, and a rectory for the residing priests.
